Potions Classroom- Severus Snape Funko Pop

This Pop Vinyl display is made in the space of an Ikea GNEDBY shelving unit. You can only currently get them in white. Mine is black but this doesn't really matter as you won't really see any of it.

You will, of course, need Professor Severus Snape. Get him through Amazon here. The specific one I have is number 5.

The small glass bottles contain a wide range of random items to represent the potions ingredients. I have a selection of sizes of bottles to give a more realistic look so I would recommend at least two different sizes. These 3ml bottles and 10ml bottles are perfect.

I've created labels with small pieces of tea stained paper. The shelves are made from thick cardboard cut to size to fit the space but I would recommend a thin balsa wood that you can then cut. Mine are rested on the little pegs that come with the Ikea shelves are are a little flimsy.

The floor and walls have been covered with patterned papers. It is always worth keeping an eye out in the diy stores for wallpaper samples that have a small print. The tiled floor here is from a tile effect bathroom wallpaper. The walls are made from a stone print patterned paper. 

For the ceiling, I worked directly onto the shelf above using a metallic gilding wax. I've used the cosmic shimmer brand which you can get here. It works on a wide range or surfaces including wood and the plasticky covering that is standard on cheap Ikea flat pack furniture.

The final touch was the cauldron.
